Excellent & knowledgeable doctor who quickly examined me and made a diagnosis that eased my mind. A specialist who is available the same day is rare and I’m so appreciative.

All I can say is that Dr. Vaidya is the best. I had been dealing with an eye condition for several months and had gone to many eye doctors who couldn't diagnose me properly and were providing me with temporary solutions for my problem. Dr. Vaidya, on the the other hand, was a lifesaver. He patiently and thoroughly assessed my history, took the time to explain the problem, and was able to provide my eyes the treatment they so desperately needed! Dr. Vaidya has an easy manner with his patients. I tend to get very anxious around medical procedures, but Dr. Vaidya was able to help me relax with his calm voice and easygoing demeanor.Oh, and of course, it doesn't hurt that his office is so high-tech! I love the ipads at check-in. In short, Dr. Vaidya is by far the best opthamologist out there (and I have been to many!). Definitely check out his practice. You won't regret it!

Just a great experience Dr. Vaidya was fantastic. The office was clean and modern and the staff was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and caring. I was referred with a serious problem and Dr. Vaidya and his team took the time to make the correct diagnosis (others had missed it) and start me on the right treatment. I'm starting to see better.

Dr Vaidya I’ve seen Dr Vaidya twice for retinal issues, he instills confidence and calms you down at the same time. Easygoing and charming. Not a bad combination.

February 11th, 2011 Dr. Vaidya treated my mother at his Staten Island office. She was very happy with the care she received from him and has made him her regular ophthalmologist. She was especially happy at how fast should could get an appointment with him as she would wait 1-2 months for an appt with her previous eye doc. A great physician for anyone looking for a eye doc in the area, great demeanour and very meticulous.

Exceptional Ophthalmologist Specialist in Retina!!! I consulted him for a 2nd opinion assessment of my eyes. Dr Nadeem Vaidya took his time to assess, explain the retina scan/ images and cared about my concerns. He's straightforward with the options as well as risks versus benefits !

Went to see Dr.Vaidya, he took the time to answer all my questions today. He did a great job explaining things to me, I never felt rushed. He really was very easy to talk with and really took the time to listen. Very knowledgeable on the eye and I learned alot about my eyes during the visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Vaidya. Also the staff was very nice, Broken even took the time to call me back after I asked the Dr. a question before scheduling me in. Great Experience!

I had to see a physician concerning my retina on an urgent basis. I cannot begin to say how wonderful this experience was. Dr. Vaidya is by far the best Retina specialist for us. He's been treating my mom for wet AMD for about 6 months now. My mom is doing much better. She was receiving injections in her eye monthly previously. Under Dr Vaidya's care we cut it down to 8 weeks this time. Next appointment is in 10. Also will like to add that his team is very professional, kind and welcoming. Just the way Dr. Vaidya is.

Dr. Vaidya recently treated me for a retinal tear. I've had perfect vision all my life so I was terrified to think that I could have a potentially blinding condition. He was extremely understanding of my fears/hesitations in making a decision regarding my treatment options. After all the time he spent explaining my options I felt confident in receiving laser treatment from him. 6 months later the tear is still sealed and I follow up with him regularly. I fully recommend him for anyone looking for a good retinal specialist.

Dr. Vaidya is the absolute best ophthalmologist!!! He is smart, kind and has the kind of bed side manner that all physicians should emulate. Thank goodness for yelp reviews on Dr. Vaidya. I was looking for a retinal specialist and after reading the positive reviews, I decided to make the call for an appointment. Going to an ophthalmologist can be terrifying because these are a vital part of your senses. I was experiencing symptoms that were certainly worrisome but after spending time with Dr. Vaidya, I felt that I was in good hands. Bad news is bad no matter what, but who delivers it by how they do it is crucial to patient compliance and healing. Doctors forget that their patients are scared and don't have the medical knowledge to digest the complexity of their health issues. For these reasons, being in the care of a physician like Dr. Vaidya has been a Godsend. He doesn't make you feel rushed, you leave his office feeling cared about because he addresses all your questions and concerns. And when I had an emergency on two separate weekends, I had to call and was surprised to have Dr. Vaidya return my call with the same care he shows during his office hours. I've had personal experience and have known others who have been scolded or rudely treated by doctors because it was on a weekend. I always feel terrible and hesitant to inconvenience anyone let alone a busy doctor on a weekend, but your body doesn't discriminate weekdays and weekends. Without going on and on about how wonderful this doctor is...I'll just say please do yourself a favor if you need a retinal specialist and go see Dr. Vaidya.

Dr. Valdya took the time to go over my retina. He answered ALL MY QUESTIONS with no rush. It's been a while, where I left the doctors office feeling not rushed. Dr. Valdya is on top of it and my laser surgery was scheduled. His office staff is very friendly. I can't say much more. What else can you ask for?

Dr Nadeem is one of the kindest and professional doctor I have. He is very patient and thorough in briefing me on my condition and provide expert advices. He performed gel injection and laser treatments on my eye due to retinopathy with very little discomfort and put me at ease.

I'm SO thankful I got a second opinion and saw Dr. Nadeen Vaidya. He was able to find a medium size hole in my left retina even though I was just told by another retina specialist that I had nothing wrong with my eyes. HIGHLY recommend this doctor. He's very kind and patient. I really appreciated that he took the time to really understand what's been going on with my eyes.

Came to Dr. Vaidya because I had an eye issue that needed urgent attention and couldn't get an appt. at the other opthamologist in Newport that everyone says is the best. Dr. Vaidya is an excellent and caring specialist in the area of Retina diseases. I was under his care for treatment of Wet Retina Degeneration, and I am fortunate that his accurate diagnosis and excellent treatment prevented loss of vision of my diseased eye. For years I went to another Orange County Retina doctor. I felt like a part on an assembly line. Appointments lasted almost half a day while I waited with continuous dilation to finally see the doctors. They could have received much more income if they opened a restaurant inside the office. And the staff was immune to any inquiry about wait times and schedule problems. Zombies would be a more appropriate term than staff.When i finally became disgusted and decided to jump off the assembly line of care I was receiving, I found Dr. Vaidya. Dr Vaidya's office and staff are top notch. He is very patient and fully explains everything and discusses all of your options. His office is state of the art and very clean. I have been to other retinal specialists before, but never had one who has taken the time to really explain things thoroughly! Most Advanced Just like what it says in their webpage "most advanced" is actually true!!! I ruly believe they have the most advanced equipments.

Just loved the experience. From scheduling to the doctor visit was excellent. I had to get an urgent appointment and the scheduler was very understanding and fitted me into the schedule. The doctor was very understanding and took his time in explaining the situation. Highly recommended.
