I had to see a physician concerning my retina on an urgent basis. I cannot begin to say how wonderful this experience was. They got me in within one day and the doctor was professional, thoughtful, and gave me total confidence. I would recommend my family and friends without giving it a second thought.

I wish I can give Dr. Nadeem ten stars ! I came in to see him earlier than my intended appointment day because I had a feeling that I should see him earlier based on my symptoms. The front desk was very nice to fit me in. Dr. Nadeem was so knowledgeable and kind. He was patient was all my questions and so considerate with my concerns. He wanted to run some blood work to be thorough and rule out any possible issues. I was so surprised when he called me after hours when he was told by the front desk that I had called about some test result and was worried. And although he was not in the office that day, he still called me to reassure me and explained the results. He was honest if there was something he wasn't sure of and suggested I speak with my other Doctor. This takes a both humble and confident physician to acknowledge. I'm so impressed and feel really lucky. Doctors are not God, even if some make you feel like they are. Dr. Nadeem has exemplary bedside manner and the medical knowledge that helps his patients like myself feel like they are in very good hands. Highly recommend!

Dr Nadeem is one of the kindest and professional doctor I have. He is very patient and thorough in briefing me on my condition and provide expert advices. He performed gel injection and laser treatments on my eye due to retinopathy with very little discomfort and put me at ease.

First time coming here and it was a great experience. From super friendly people at the front desk to the Dr himself, I was very glad I chose them. Everything was explained in detail and all my questions answered with patience. I highly recommend them.

For years I went to another Orange County Retina doctor. I felt like a part on an assembly line. Appointments lasted almost half a day while I waited with continuous dilation to finally see the doctors. They could have received much more income if they opened a restaurant inside the office. And the staff was immune to any inquiry about wait times and schedule problems. Zombies would be a more appropriate term than staff.When i finally became disgusted and decided to jump off the assembly line of care I was receiving, I found Dr. Vaidya. February 13th, 2011 Dr. Vaidya was fantastic. The office was clean and modern and the staff was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and caring. I was referred with a serious problem and Dr. Vaidya and his team took the time to make the correct diagnosis (others had missed it) and start me on the right treatment. I'm starting to see better.

I am very pleased with the doctor here. He explained to me in detail and in simple words about my condition and he is very pleasant and accommodating. I couldn’t ask for more!

Dr. Vaidya and his team are always cheerful, attentive and helpful. The office location and atmosphere couldn't be better and the doctor has always provided outstanding treatment and a most pleasant demeanor.

Came to Dr. Vaidya because I had an eye issue that needed urgent attention and couldn't get an appt. at the other opthamologist in Newport that everyone says is the best. Dr. Vaidya is absolutely amazing. Thorough, great bedside manner, kind and explains everything is detail. So glad I found him. You will not be disappointed.

Always such a pleasure to see Dr. Vaidya for my yearly exams! Dr. V is kind, caring, professional,, knowledgeable and very honest. In fact, after my appointment today, he told me that I am doing so well, that I can probably see him every other year! Such a great doctor!!

My optometrist recommended an OCT scan due to having a risk for glaucoma. Dr Vaidya did a comprehensive exam and determined that I was very low risk, which provided a peace of mind. He is a great doctor who is informative and thorough in is explanations. I received the scan results and notes from the exam within 30 minutes after leaving. The office environment was stellar - the front desk, staff and environment. They were very responsive during scheduling and questions.

All I can say is that Dr. Vaidya is the best. I had been dealing with an eye condition for several months and had gone to many eye doctors who couldn't diagnose me properly and were providing me with temporary solutions for my problem. Dr. Vaidya, on the the other hand, was a lifesaver. He patiently and thoroughly assessed my history, took the time to explain the problem, and was able to provide my eyes the treatment they so desperately needed! Dr. Vaidya has an easy manner with his patients. I tend to get very anxious around medical procedures, but Dr. Vaidya was able to help me relax with his calm voice and easygoing demeanor.Oh, and of course, it doesn't hurt that his office is so high-tech! I love the ipads at check-in. In short, Dr. Vaidya is by far the best opthamologist out there (and I have been to many!). Definitely check out his practice. You won't regret it!

Very pleased with my care in this office. High tech equipment along with the doctor's knowledge makes me feel medically on top of the latest care for my diabetic eyes. Highly recommend.

Dr. Vaidya is all class. Not only is his office welcoming, inviting, and state-of-the-art, but there is no wait time at all. He personally walks patients through diagnostic tests, explaining everything along the way. His office is very high tech - he uses ipads at check in!He takes his time with everyone and genuinely is concerned about their well-being.If you would like a boutique-style experience that few can match, make sure you stop by Dr. Vaidya's ophthalmology/retina practice.

Dr. Vaidya is by far the best Retina specialist for us. He's been treating my mom for wet AMD for about 6 months now. My mom is doing much better. She was receiving injections in her eye monthly previously. Under Dr Vaidya's care we cut it down to 8 weeks this time. Next appointment is in 10. Also will like to add that his team is very professional, kind and welcoming. Just the way Dr. Vaidya is.

Five Stars Dr. Vaidya treated my mother at his Staten Island office. She was very happy with the care she received from him and has made him her regular ophthalmologist. She was especially happy at how fast should could get an appointment with him as she would wait 1-2 months for an appt with her previous eye doc. A great physician for anyone looking for a eye doc in the area, great demeanour and very meticulous.

Dr Vaidya is smart, personable, and empathetic. He takes all the time you need at every appointment to answer any and all questions thoroughly, and never makes you feel rushed or like you're just another number on his schedule that day. He remembers you and your issues, which is pretty cool. He also tells it like it is regarding your condition and treatment options, without any embellishment to persuade you one way or another. He gives you the facts and leaves all decisions in your hands. You never feel like he's pushing you to make money. I had a retinoschesis in my right eye, and he kept it under observation for several years, never pressuring me to undergo a procedure for it because he said it wasn't truly medically necessary. When the retina finally started detaching, he said it was time, and was even happy to give me a referral to another retinal surgeon for a second opinion. I went to that guy, Dr Brent Norman in Newport Beach, and even though he was older and grayer than Dr Vaidya (more old school experience), his cold, mechanical attitude just didn't connect with me. I scheduled my reattachment procedure with Dr Vaidya, it went flawlessly, and my recovery went exactly as he said it would. I followed his post-op instructions to the letter (and even more strictly, keeping my head facing down for a week), and now 8 months later my vision in both eyes is virtually exactly where it was before my retina issue -- and with no cataract because I followed his aftercare instructions religiously. Today I went to see him, 6 months after my last post-op checkup, and he gave me a big thumbs up. He told me to schedule a follow-up appointment 1 year from now... or he said even 2 years if I get busy because things are looking perfect. Not money-hungry at all, love it! And his reception staff and ophthalmology / retinology assistants (don't know their title) are super friendly and nice, too.

Dr. Vaidya recently treated me for a retinal tear. I've had perfect vision all my life so I was terrified to think that I could have a potentially blinding condition. He was extremely understanding of my fears/hesitations in making a decision regarding my treatment options. After all the time he spent explaining my options I felt confident in receiving laser treatment from him. 6 months later the tear is still sealed and I follow up with him regularly. I fully recommend him for anyone looking for a good retinal specialist.

Most Advanced Just like what it says in their webpage "most advanced" is actually true!!! I ruly believe they have the most advanced equipments.

Dr Nadeem is one of the kindest and most experienced doctor I have. He made my visits and procedures (laser treatment) a breeze. The office staff is very friendly too.

I am writing today to tell you of the incredibly professional and outstanding service I received from your retina OC staff. The receptionist arranged for me to see Dr. Nadeem N. Vaidya, MD, Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Retina OC, on very short notice the same day. The technician was kind, helpful, and efficient, which was appreciated as I could see Dr. Vaidya soonest. This last occasion to see Dr. Vaidyawas regarding a sudden loss of eyesight in my left eye. I had previously been a patient of the doctor for a detached retina. Let me say on both occasions, I was, in short, terrified that I might lose my vision. On both occasions, Dr. Vaiday was incredibly calming and extraordinarily knowledgeable and spoke in a positive/confident manner to say, "we can fix this " and he did so on both occasions. I can't say enough about this excellent doctor; he is kind and will take as much time with you as you need.

Just loved the experience. From scheduling to the doctor visit was excellent. I had to get an urgent appointment and the scheduler was very understanding and fitted me into the schedule. The doctor was very understanding and took his time in explaining the situation. Highly recommended.

I was having flashes in my right eye when I looked up. They were white, half moon flashes and I became very nervous. My wait was very short and the staff were so kind and welcoming. The moment I met Dr. Vaidya, I felt very comfortable. He is very kind and one of the top Doctors in the Country in this Field. He did a thorough exam and was very detailed and answered all my questions. I had a slight tear which was caused by the vitrious fluid pulling away from my retina. He performed laser surgery which was not painful at all. I just had my 1 year appointment and my small tear has healed beautifully. He would be my #1 choice for referring anyone who is looking for a top Opthamologist and retina specialist.

Just a really educated and on top of it doctor. He is personal and friendly and allows him to convey everything you need to know.

I almost never write reviews but this time I really felt compelled to give my feedback to the community. Dr. Nadeem Vaidya is a rear gem in the modern world of high speed and high volume healthcare. We met when my wife had a very scary experience with a serious ophthalmology problem and Dr. Vaidya was able to provide her with absolutely best possible treatment! Not only he is an amazing and highly talented retina specialist, but he is also a caring human being whom you trust completely starting from the moment he enters the room. It was very easy to schedule an appointment, reach out to him with all kind of questions, etc. We never felt rushed or neglected, on the contrary he made it his priority to accommodate all her needs. He was patient in answering questions, explaining things and making sure that the message came across. He performed a procedure with great skills. All in all, Dr. Nadeem Vaidya is truly a Doctor with a capital D whom I would be honored to recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Over the past month I have been in and out of eye doctors' offices regarding a vision loss in my eye. Very scary as well as frustrating.Dr. Vaidya and his staff are AMAZING. I called them on a Friday before a holiday weekend and they immediately assured me they would work me in.Once there, Dr. Vaidya took his time explaining what he believe the issue w/my eye is, however even told me he wanted to consult with a specialist before providing treatment. He took the time to contact the specialist and while she was not able to get me in that day, he gave her my info and told me to call her on that following Tuesday and she would work me in. Since I was leaving his office still unsure of next steps, he was very reassuring that things would be ok and that everything would get figured out.I find it refreshing that a doctor would take so much time and care with a first time patient. As well as to admit he wanted someone else to look at it to ensure no further inaccurate prognosis. My experience was exceptional and look forward to working further with him.He is the best of the best as is his staff.

Just came back from my first visit with Dr. Vaidya. I previously had a retinal problem and my primary care physician referred me to him. Sarah and the doctor's assistant were so helpful with insurance concerns. He has the most up-to-date, high-tech equipment. I've never had such a thorough consultation. Dr. Vaidya took his time explaining every detail while showing me the computer-generated visual diagrams. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Vaidya to anyone who has/had retinal issues, as well as anyone who appreciates an exceptional opthalmologist.
