Outstanding experience. Excellent outcome! Dr. Vaidya is the best!

Doctor Vaidya is fantastic! He checked my eyes thoroughly and explained all the details with patience, and gave me the possible solutions. highly recommend!

I found Dr. Vaidya personable, confident and thorough. I was anxious about the reason for my visit and appreciated his open communication during my examination as well as the time spent to answer my questions. Also notable is the experience with front office and associate staff, excellent! I don't have a situation where I currently require regular care from the office but if you do the ability to book appointments and view records online is such a value add!

Dr. Vaidya and his team are always cheerful, attentive and helpful. The office location and atmosphere couldn't be better and the doctor has always provided outstanding treatment and a most pleasant demeanor.

My optometrist recommended an OCT scan due to having a risk for glaucoma. Dr Vaidya did a comprehensive exam and determined that I was very low risk, which provided a peace of mind. He is a great doctor who is informative and thorough in is explanations. I received the scan results and notes from the exam within 30 minutes after leaving. The office environment was stellar - the front desk, staff and environment. They were very responsive during scheduling and questions.

Just came back from my first visit with Dr. Vaidya. I previously had a retinal problem and my primary care physician referred me to him. Sarah and the doctor's assistant were so helpful with insurance concerns. He has the most up-to-date, high-tech equipment. I've never had such a thorough consultation. Dr. Vaidya took his time explaining every detail while showing me the computer-generated visual diagrams. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Vaidya to anyone who has/had retinal issues, as well as anyone who appreciates an exceptional opthalmologist.

March 13 2015 Seham RAGHEB (PATIENT) The staff was professional and caring they knew the meaning of URGENT,when i asked for the nearest appt. as I was scheduled (abroad by another Doctor) for an injection that was past due,they rescheduled and I had it....I really felt I was important to them. Dr. Vaidya was caring,gave me enough time to discuss my options. I think he is one of a kind.I thank him.

Dr Vaidya's office and staff are top notch. He is very patient and fully explains everything and discusses all of your options. His office is state of the art and very clean. I have been to other retinal specialists before, but never had one who has taken the time to really explain things thoroughly! If I decide to do the surgery, I am sure I will be in good hands with his expertise- Harvard trained!

Totally recommend Retina OC. I was referred by my optometrist and Dr Vaidya was able to see me immediately. He was very thorough and took very good care of my issue. I am very pleased with the follow up. I was also very impressed with his staff, particularly Christy at the front desk.

We love Retina OC! The doctor's voice is so calming that it always seems like going to a spa when you go. He is always so patient, in fact, everyone there is always so patient. The receptionists are always super nice and the wait is never long. Out of all the doctors my mom has seen, this is our favorite to visit!

Five Stars Dr. Vaidya treated my mother at his Staten Island office. She was very happy with the care she received from him and has made him her regular ophthalmologist. She was especially happy at how fast should could get an appointment with him as she would wait 1-2 months for an appt with her previous eye doc. A great physician for anyone looking for a eye doc in the area, great demeanour and very meticulous.

March 2nd, 2022 My first visit with Dr Vaidya, he took a lot of time explaining my condition to me and also the treatment plan. He is very patient and took time to answer my concerns and questions.

Exceptional Ophthalmologist Specialist in Retina!!! I consulted him for a 2nd opinion assessment of my eyes. Dr Nadeem Vaidya took his time to assess, explain the retina scan/ images and cared about my concerns. He's straightforward with the options as well as risks versus benefits !

I am so glad I was referred here. Dr. Vaidya and his staff were amazing! I came in with a couple of concerns and all of my questions were answered. I really appreciate that Dr. Vaidya spent time answering my questions and going over everything. The game plan that we came up with was great and I left feeling very informed. His staff was super friendly and the office was very clean. I was extremely impressed that I received a phone call from Dr. Vaidya regarding a concern that we forgot to discuss at the time of the appointment later that day. He has done a great job assessing, treating and monitoring the condition to keep it under control. In addition to epitomizing medical professionalism, he is also a genuinely kind man. And his office staff reflects his demeanor – they are always a pleasure to work with. Dr. Vaidya recently treated me for a retinal tear. I've had perfect vision all my life so I was terrified to think that I could have a potentially blinding condition. He was extremely understanding of my fears/hesitations in making a decision regarding my treatment options. After all the time he spent explaining my options I felt confident in receiving laser treatment from him. 6 months later the tear is still sealed and I follow up with him regularly. I fully recommend him for anyone looking for a good retinal specialist.

Came to Dr. Vaidya because I had an eye issue that needed urgent attention and couldn't get an appt. at the other opthamologist in Newport that everyone says is the best. Dr. Vaidya is absolutely amazing. Thorough, great bedside manner, kind and explains everything is detail. So glad I found him. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Vaidya is an excellent and caring specialist in the area of Retina diseases. I was under his care for treatment of Wet Retina Degeneration, and I am fortunate that his accurate diagnosis and excellent treatment prevented loss of vision of my diseased eye. Went to see Dr.Vaidya, he took the time to answer all my questions today. He did a great job explaining things to me, I never felt rushed. He really was very easy to talk with and really took the time to listen. Very knowledgeable on the eye and I learned alot about my eyes during the visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Vaidya. The receptionist arranged for me to see Dr. Nadeem N. Vaidya, MD, Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Retina OC, on very short notice the same day. The technician was kind, helpful, and efficient, which was appreciated as I could see Dr. Vaidya soonest.This last occasion to see Dr. Vaidyawas regarding a sudden loss of eyesight in my left eye. I had previously been a patient of the doctor for a detached retina. Let me say on both occasions, I was, in short, terrified that I might lose my vision. On both occasions, Dr. Vaiday was incredibly calming and extraordinarily knowledgeable and spoke in a positive/confident manner to say, "we can fix this " and he did so on both occasions. I can't say enough about this excellent doctor; he is kind and will take as much time with you as you need.

This is a very impressive organization. The office is beautiful, staff attentive and helpful, seamless experience. I was having an issue over a holiday week-end, left a message and received a call directly from the doctor. He put me at ease and made room in the schedule for an appointment on the next working day. He apologized that he was out of town and unable to see me immediately. He gave me a referral to an ER Doc in the event my condition worsened or my concern increased.I am very impressed by his attentive caring, clear explanations and an encouraging set of next steps. I almost never write reviews but this time I really felt compelled to give my feedback to the community. Dr. Nadeem Vaidya is a rear gem in the modern world of high speed and high volume healthcare. We met when my wife had a very scary experience with a serious ophthalmology problem and Dr. Vaidya was able to provide her with absolutely best possible treatment! Not only he is an amazing and highly talented retina specialist, but he is also a caring human being whom you trust completely starting from the moment he enters the room. It was very easy to schedule an appointment, reach out to him with all kind of questions, etc. We never felt rushed or neglected, on the contrary he made it his priority to accommodate all her needs. He was patient in answering questions, explaining things and making sure that the message came across. He performed a procedure with great skills. Dr. Vaidya is all class. Not only is his office welcoming, inviting, and state-of-the-art, but there is no wait time at all. December 14th, 2017 Calm, Bright, Communicative! What else can you ask for.

The best of the best, they are on time, very professional and very friendly. I have my macular inspection done 4 years ago and this time around they have all the record on the ipad. We could see any difference on both eyes quickly. The equipment is very advance and new. 30 mins, they performed OCT, retina pictures and human inspection of my retina. I loved it. Anywhere else, it would take 2 hours! Don't think twice, call them now. You have no time to waste with retina problems.
